X-ray Diagnostics of Dust Diseases (Part II)

The first part, devoted to X-ray diagnostics of dust diseases, was performed in the last issue. Question of the etiology, pathogenesis and a clinical pattern of dust diseases were considered. The modern classification built in dependence on an inhaled dust agent was given. The pathogenesis of dust diseases is described. The abilities of different modalities of diagnostic imaging at dust diseases were reviewed and features of X-ray imaging at silicosis and its complication were shown. The second part deals clinical and X-ray manifestations of other forms of the dust diseases, such as silicatosis, anthracosis, berylliosis and so on.
