Complex Diagnostic Imaging of Hand and Wrist Rheumatoid Arthritis at Early Stages of the Disease

Early and prompt diagnostics of a rheumatoid arthritis remains an actual medical problem. Introduction in clinical practice spiral CT and MRI essentially expanded opportunities for diagnosis of inflammatory changes in wrist and hand joints. 105 patients with a rheumatoid arthritis were examined. Plain film radiography, spiral CT and MRI were performed. The procedure of CT scanning and magnetic resonance imaging of a hand was optimized, the semiotics of pathological changes in a hand at 0-IV stages of rheumatoid arthritis was developed. Frequency of bones and joints lesions of a hand and a wrist at rheumatoid arthritis was investigated.
