Vascular Anomalies and Kidney Tumors. A Diagnostic Significance of Dopplerography and Multispiral Computed Tomography

The aim of the study was to compare diagnostic efficacy of vascular Doppler and multislice CT (MSCT) in diagnosis of arterial and venous anomalies of renal vessels in patients with tumors of a kidney. The comparative analysis showed 100% sensitivity of MSCT in a detection of vascular anomalies. The results of the study afford to recommend MSCT as the principal method of examination in such patients. Vascular Doppler could be used for screening of vascular anomalies. The article is illustrated by 2 clinical cases. Combined use of vascular Doppler and MSCT gives possibility to plan a type and a character of surgery in patients with tumors of a kidney taking into consideration its vasculature.
